Adam Paul Shere is a gifted singer/songwriter eager to share his music with those who have yet to hear his honest and compelling songs. A native of Southern California, Adam has been honing his musical skills for over 13 years, penning the lyrics to over 400 songs since he wrote his first at the age of 14. A devoted fan of all genres of music, his list of favorite artists ranges from Mozart to Matisyahu and everything in between. He's most noticeably been influenced by the songs his parents grew up loving, and in turn taught him to love. The Beatles and Bob Dylan were early favorites and continue to inspire and influence the crafting of his songs to this day. Growing up in the 90's Adam was moved by the haunting and often cryptic lyrics of Counting Crows, The Wallflowers and Jewel, who each gave him a new perspective on his budding songwriting skills. He continues to find new inspiration in the songs of Jack Johnson, Matt Costa, Ben Harper, Amos Lee, Norah Jones, Coldplay, Colbie Caillat and A Fine Frenzy. In 2005 Adam started pursuing a career in music, recording a 4 song EP, "Simply Acoustic", and playing 70 live shows in the course of a year. In 2009 he spent over 50 hours in the recording studio playing multiple instruments and co-producing his debut CD, "The Town Nobody Knows". Later that year Adam wrote and shot his first music video for the title track of his new CD. This year Adam is back to writing, recording and releasing new music with plans for live shows, meeting and sharing his songs with fans and new listeners alike. When he's not working on his music, Adam loves spending time with his family and friends in Orange County, his home for 20 + years. Adam Paul Shere has been given a gift for music and feels blessed to sing the songs God has given him. "Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to Your Name be the glory, because of Your love and faithfulness." Psalm 115:1
